marble flooring
Marble is formed when very pure Limestone is subjected to extreme heat and pressure. Its dense, crystalline structure enables Marble to be polished to a glass like finish.
Indeed the name Marble is derived from the Greek “marmaros” meaning “shining stone”.
Marble flooring is also available in an aged finish, which gives a more subtle sheen. This brushed finish highlights delicate pits and crevices and displays some of the feint coloured veining without a highly reflective finish.
